The Challenge

Standardized ad compliance and structure across a portfolio of local service business clients.

Across our active ad management clients — a portfolio of roughly a dozen local and regional service businesses — the same pattern kept surfacing. Accounts had grown organically into a single catch-all ad group covering several unrelated services sharing one generic ad, so every search intent was served the same mixed set of headlines, whether or not it actually matched what the person was looking for.

On top of that, several accounts had location targeting left far broader than the client's real service area, sitelink extensions that all pointed to the same generic page regardless of what the link text promised, and image assets or individual headlines sitting disapproved under content or industry-specific ad policies. In every case, the account was already live and spending its full daily budget while these issues went unnoticed.

The Approach

The Codaires Method, applied.

Four phases, from mapping the process to running it autonomously in production.

STEP 01 — DISCOVER

Audited every live account

We pulled the full account export for each client, mapped every ad group, keyword, and asset, and diagnosed the recurring causes of Poor ad strength ratings, policy disapprovals, and duplicate ad group structures left over from earlier fixes.

STEP 02 — ARCHITECT

Rebuilt a repeatable structure

We redesigned each account into one dedicated ad group per real service, corrected location targeting to the client's true service area, and remapped every sitelink and account-level asset to the specific page it was supposed to represent.

STEP 03 — AUTOMATE

Shipped compliant creative at scale

We rewrote headlines and descriptions to clear policy review, replaced disapproved image assets, and built matching, compliant social campaigns using the same service-by-service segmentation, so every client's Search and Social channels told a consistent story.

STEP 04 — SCALE

Turned it into a standing playbook

With every account compliant and rated Good-to-Excellent, we turned the process into a standard audit-and-rebuild playbook we now run across the full client portfolio, on a rolling basis, as new services and locations are added.

The Results

Measured after the engagement.

100%
Ad groups reaching Good-to-Excellent Ad Strength
Zero
Policy disapprovals remaining across managed accounts
12+
Client accounts audited and rebuilt on the new standard
2
